Answer Bruce, Try this first, Disconnect the dishwasher drain hose from the plumbing under the sink, start the dishwasher and let it fill and wash for a minute. Place the end of the drain hose in a large bucket or pail and drain the dishwasher. Any debris accumulated in the pump or drain hose should be flushed from the system, you may want to do this process a couple of times. Check and make sure there's no debris at the connection point.
