Shug M. for Model Number cam2752rq0 I have a commercial washer. My questions are, what is the purpose of the thermistor located at end of the water valve? The second question, the washer has a pressure switch. The old one has been replaced now. The new one stays engaged when the machine does not need it. Could you tell me the problem? Thanks
Answer Hello Shug, The thermistor on the water valve monitors the water temperature for the wash water so the proper water temperature will be injected into the tub for a proper wash result. The pressure switch has to have power to it all the time so it can pass the voltage to start the wash cycle. If the power were discontinued to the pressure switch when the unit filled, it would shut down at that point. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, May 16, 2014
