Eric My Whirlpool Model # WTW5505SQ1 was pulsing during warm/hot water fill. Sometimes if you let it go it would eventually stop. I researched it and it looked like the fix was the water inlet valve. I recently replaced water inlet valve, Noticed a little bit of corrosion on the wire connectors of what I believe is the thermister on bottom of original inlet valve. I tried soaking the connectors in a baking soda and water solution to break up corrosion on the connectors and blew them off good. My thinking was that the connection might not be good. The still pulses when trying to fill with warm/hot water. I pulled hoses from machine and opened valves to check flow. Water flow for both hot & cold seems sufficient. I don't know where else to turn... Any ideas?
Answer Eric, Check the screens inside the water valve where the water lines are connected and make sure that they are not clogged up. This would be the most likely cause. If this checks ok then either the water valve is faulty or the control board is sending out a bad signal. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, February 26, 2018
