Glenn B for Model Number KDTE254ESS2 My dishwasher is not filing with water. I tested water pressure, it was fine. I replaced the inlet valve and cleared the supply line. I then determined water was getting to the inlet valve from the supply but it was not getting passed the inlet valve to the supply hose to the actual washing cavity. I disconnected the supply line to the tank while the machine was running and nothing was coming through the line. I then replaced the float switch, thinking that perhaps there was a default there. After replacing the float switch I still do not have water getting to the machine. What could the problem be? Is the only thing left the control board? I am resistant to buying a new control board to find out it will not repair the machine given their expense. At some point I just need to give in and buy a new machine. But if that is the last possible problem, I am willing to spend the money on the board. Please help. Thanks in advance.
Answer Glenn B, The first thing to check is to see at the fill portion of the cycle if power is getting to the valve. If not then trace the wiring back to see if it is the control or a wiring issue. If you do have power to the valve and not water thru then the valve is defective. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, August 29, 2022
