John Everson for Model Number JDR8895AAW The oven temp goes crazy, not every time. We may be baking at 350 degrees and then the thermometer in the oven jumps to 450 and the bread gets burned. I just replaced the oven temp sensor. Is the only thing left the control board??
Answer John, Yes, the ERC/Control WP5701M796-60 is the other component that controls the oven temperature, but I'd expect you to have other complaints as well. You may want to check the wiring harness to the bake and broil elements, make sure they are not pinched between the cabinet or touching any thing where they woukld short to ground and stay active.
