John for Model Number A612 series 02 I've been reading about replacing the damper and am confused. Will resting the machine on the 4 x 4 really provide enough clearance to get the old pads off and somehow clean the area and glue the new pads in place? It seems like you would need to remove the springs. Also, do you let the glue dry before taking the machine offf of the blocks? FInally, and I should have asked this first: my issue is that the drum wobbles a great deal on spin -- almost as if out of balance, but the load is not out of balance. With an empty tub, it doesn't wobble. Thanks for your help.
Answer Hello John. Yes, usually this is enough to replace the dampers 203956 in the unit. If not, you can loosen the spring bolts and get more room to replace the dampers. It does sound like they need to be replaced. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, April 4, 2013
