Larry P. for Model Number Amana Model Number ACC4370AW I was following the wiring diagram you provided to Ken from the original switch 31875401 to the new switch 4008781. My stove has a blue wire that was connected to "N" with the double black on the old switch. There is a terminal next to the L2 terminal on the new switch, and they seem to be connected, which is where the double black is now connected. Should I connect the blue wire to L2 as well? Thanks
Answer Hello Larry, In looking at your wiring diagram, it appears that the Blue wire should connect to N or Neutral on the new switch. This is another N terminal and not the one the two black wires connect to. The other end of this blue wire connects to terminal 2a on the limiter of the element. Read More...
