Larry P. June 09, 2018 for Model Number Amana Model Number ACC4370AW I was following the wiring diagram you provided to Ken from the original switch 31875401 to the new switch 4008781. My stove has a blue wire that was connected to "N" with the double black on the old switch. There is a terminal next to the L2 terminal on the new switch, and they seem to be connected, which is where the double black is now connected. Should I connect the blue wire to L2 as well? Thanks
1 Answer Hello Larry, In looking at your wiring diagram, it appears that the Blue wire should connect to N or Neutral on the new switch. This is another N terminal and not the one the two black wires connect to. The other end of this blue wire connects to terminal 2a on the limiter of the element. Read More...
Ken April 21, 2018 for Model Number ACC4370AB The new dual infinite switch is not exactly like the one that is currently on the stove top. I was hoping to just remove wires from the old and on the the new if they were the same. NOW that they're not, is there a wiring diagram I can use for the new AP4008781 part? Can you help me out here?
1 Answer Ken, On the original switch the number 2 terminal which is double red will go to L1 on the new switch, the N which is double black will go to L2 on the new switch, the terminal 3 which is a single black will go to H1, the terminal number 4 which is the single red wire will go to H2, and the number 5 which is double yellow will go to the P terminal on the new switch. Arnie June 22, 2016 for Model Number AK2T36 Amana electric cooktop. I do not find this model number listed without additional identifying letters / numbers. What replacement switch is used for one of the single burners. Thanks
1 Answer Arnie, The part number for the 1200 watt "single" element infinite switch is W11121639/WP32064502, it seems to fit the majority of the AK2T36 Amana Electric Cooktop(s). The BOM (bill of materials) number (ie P1131577N) is very important on Amana products. That number designates what parts are installed in the unit, based on production and engineering changes. The part is in stock and available at this time. Thanks Read More...

Ken D. February 18, 2015 for Model Number Amana Glass Top Stove I have ordered the following switch: Kit, Dual Infinite Sw Part Number: Part #:(12002422) And wonder if it is possible to order the four (- 1.25") felt rings/washers that live under the knobs that control these switches. Apparently these important felt washers keep water from destroying the switches below, I need four, but can find no part numbers. Can you please help here. Thanks. Ken
1 Answer Ken, the switch hole cover is part number 31985001. Unfortunately, this item has been discontinued with no further replacements or cross references available and our company is unaware of any other available sources. Sorry about that! Read More...
Larry March 19, 2012 for Model Number Amana #ATK3650WW Why do 3 of the switches (# 11 on diagram) have the same number and 1 of the switches (# 16 on diagram) has a different number?
