Julie for Model Number AX5133VW1 I have an old Roper washing machine, model AX5133VW1. The timer dial and knob are broken. I have been unable to get them off. I looked at some of your videos but the examples are different than our washer. Is there a video on your site that would show how to replace these parts on a model similar to ours? Also, is this the right part from your site: AP3956258? Thanks!
Answer Hello Julie! Yes, the knob and dial 280193 is the correct replacement used on your model AX5133VW1. Unfortunately, we do not have an installation video available for this part. You will need to unscrew the broken piece of knob by hand, pry off the black dial on the threaded shaft with a screw driver/putty knife and screw on the knob by hand.
