Gregg G. for Model Number jec8430 I have replaced 11 plastic knobs in 4 years, with general use. They crack at the base and become useless. They are about quite expensive. Is there a steel or better knob I can buy that fits or must I buy a different brand of cooktop to get a better result? I can't keep replacing these. Thanks, Gregg.

Unfortunately, the only knob that we can suggest for your unit is the original knob called from the manufacture, part number WP7737P245-60. We have a great one year warranty for part defects if the part is ordered and becomes defective within the year of purchase with our company.
