The Control Knob is an OEM replacement part for Whirlpool ranges. This knob allows users to select cooktop burners and oven functions through rotation.

Symptoms of a bad control knob include: 

• Burners or oven failing to activate as selected
• Inaccurate temperature or function delivery  
• Loose, wobbly, or difficult to turn knob

Causes may be general wear to the assembly over years of repeated adjustments. Knobs can also crack or buttons stick from food/liquid intrusion.
