Naomi for Model Number RF366PXXN2 FB1710294 Whirlpool electric glass top range There is supposed to be a piece extending out from the control knob. The control knob fits onto this piece. Two small screws are supposed to also fit above and below this piece the control knob fits onto. It appears there is nothing for the screws to screw into. What happened? How can I repair this? My oven will shoot up 50 to 150 degrees more than I want. Have not baked bread or rolls for months because they will get burned and dried out.
