1 Answer Kevin, The [W10196152b] is not the model number of your range, it's a part number for the knobs. The Whirlpool gas range model numbers start with letters ( SF, TG, FG, etc.) You should find the production plate, with the model and serial number, affixed to the left front frame of the range cabinet, you'll need to open the lower storage drawer or broiler drawer (depending or model) to see/find it. The control knob fits onto this piece. Two small screws are supposed to also fit above and below this piece the control knob fits onto. It appears there is nothing for the screws to screw into. What happened? How can I repair this? My oven will shoot up 50 to 150 degrees more than I want. Have not baked bread or rolls for months because they will get burned and dried out.
