Jake for Model Number ap3956258; 3957821 Our 20+ year old roper washer's knob broke off. I watched the video to change the knob. Do I still hold onto the timer thing w/the needle nose pliers to get the broken knob piece off? Does it unscrew or just pull off. I hope this new knob fits and that I don't have to get a new timer. Thanks.
Answer Hi Jake. The timer knob you need is part # W10807860. The video does correctly show how to hold the inner shaft tab out of the back of the timer area so the knob is pulled off correctly.
