Lee, You want to test the door latch (2)micro switches. The easiest way is to remove the latch assembly from the door, remove and label the wires, check the switch circuits, the door klatch would be in the unlocked position and both switches would have "open" circuits. push the latch assembly onto the tub latch strike (like the door was closed) and recheck both switches for a "closed" circuit.
