Thom for Model Number KHMS1850SBL-0 Hi, My door will not close completely and, therefore, the microwave will not work. I have replaced the fuse but the lower door latch on the is broken (half the loop is missing). I believe this is my issue and not the switch. However, the only way for me to replace this seems to be to have to purchase the entire door assembly for over $200. I have found a part that looks exactly like my door latch but it doesn't list my model as a cross reference. My question is, do you know if this door latch would work in my model? I cannot see why KitchenAid would make a design requiring a customer to purchase the entire door, which is half the price of a new microwave. Thank you for any assistance you are able to provide.
