Soniat for Model Number WTW4816FW2 We broke the lid lock and bought the replacement part.Unfortunately it seems to be manually locked. We cannot shut the lid and the locked light is red. We tried holding the "Start/Pause" button for 20 seconds. We tried unplugging it for 15 minutes. We tried calibrating by doing the "1 left, 3 right, 1 left, 1 right and going to Rinse". Help!
Answer Sonia, In the tech sheet, there is a section called manual test mode. This will allow you to control the door lock. I will send you a copy in case you don't have a tech sheet. Follow the instructions to enter the service mode then turn the dial until the lights correspond with the manual test mode and push start.
