Chuck for Model Number W11307244 lid lock for a Whirlpool wtw5000dw2 Do you have a wiring diagram for this and/or the original. I'd like to do conductivity test but I'm not sure which wires I should test. Red to white is 0 ohms, lid open and closed. Blue to white will switch between 0 and 100 ohms when the lid opened of closed.
Answer Chuck, the red wire to white wire test is good as this would test if the lock assembly is in the locked position. The blue wire to white wire test is going to be for the lid switch and the lid lock solenoid. When the lid is open, the lid switch and solenoid should show an open circuit.
