John for Model Number 110.5142510 first, my machine did not start. then after starting i think it went through its cycle, but now the lid will not open and no lights are on. i checked the power and it is on. so how do i open the lid to get my clothes out. the problem is probably the lid switch but i still need to get my clothes out of the washer.
Answer John, if the LEDs will not illuminate at all and there is 120VAC reaching the control W11106372, the control has failed and would need to be replaced. The top panel can be lifted up by removing the hinge screws at the back of the top panel. This will allow the top panel to pull toward the front of the appliance, lift up 1/4", then slide back while lifting and it will be able to open. Read More...
