By: Whirlpool
Part Number: OEM18057861
Manufacturer Part Number: WPW10312660

This electronic control board is the "brain" of the dishwasher, coordinating cycle timing and powering key components. Replacing a failed board can restore normal operation when the unit won't start, stops mid-cycle, or behaves erratically. What it does:

  • Manages cycle timing and sequences based on selected options
  • Distributes power to the circulation pump, drain pump, water inlet valve, heater, and dispenser
  • Monitors inputs from sensors and the door switch to advance/complete cycles
  • Faults can present as unresponsive controls, won't start/finish cycles, random resets, or error codes
What's included:
  • 1 electronic control board
Install notes:
  • Disconnect power at the breaker before servicing; shut off water supply if accessing the lower compartment
  • Use anti-static precautions; handle by the edges and avoid touching connector pins
  • Access location varies by model; photograph wiring and transfer one connector at a time
  • After installation, run the dishwasher's diagnostic/service cycle to verify operation
