Answer Hello Ken, The ratcheting device that the rear leg is connected to is stuck. This is a common problem that is easily rectified. Simply tilt the unit up on its' front legs and tap on either of the rear legs. The legs will drop to the centered position. At this point, lower the unit straight back down onto the rear legs.
