Theresa W for Model Number MAH8700AWW FRONTLOADER Just bought the machine, everything came on great & seemed to go thru the motions as it should. Then it was time to get the laundry out, the door wouldn't open it still hasn't opened. What can I do to fix this problem?
Answer Theresa, You will need to remove the top cover of the washer and with the cover off and power disconnected, Reach down where the latch assembly is and there will be a tab toward the bottom that you can pull on which will release the door lock assembly.
