Manufacturer Part Number: WPW10349235

This part is a Whirlpool washer lid exclusively available for individual order. The washer lid closes and locks, covering the washing compartment of the appliance. The top prevents any water from being tossed out of the machine during the cycle. This particular component is made from glass. Glass washer lids are more fragile than conventional models and can be more prone to accidental shattering. When these lids break or become warped or bent, it may be time for a replacement. Water can be spilled from the machine, and any irregularities in the shape can cause the washer to prevent the lock from engaging. Installation of these washer lids can be done quickly at home with a screwdriver. Locate the inside hinges and the bushings. Remove the bushings and slide the lid hinge out. This whole process takes four screws. Insert the lid hinges into the lid, then slide the bushings back onto the lid hinges. When possible, have one person hold the lid up while someone else screws the bushings and hinges back down. This is a genuine OEM part and is sourced directly from the manufacturer. This product is only compatible for installation with Whirlpool washers.

Calvin, Unfortunately, the manufacturer has discontinued the WPW10183521 / W10071520 / W10183520 Lid, Glass Assembly Black. The manufacturer no longer sells the part. We can no longer get it from any of our suppliers. There is no substitute for the part available to us and we don't know of any other source for the part. You may want to try contacting local parts dealers, one of them might still have it in stock. Enter your part number in a search engine, a smaller company might have it. Try eBay, Amazon or similar sites. Search by using the manufacturer's part number. Try a used appliance store, sometimes they have the same model or usable part for your machine or access to someone who does have the part or access to a repair facility that can repair or refurbish your part. Thanks,
