Ray for Model Number JDS9865BDP22 Ray M for Model Number AP4100082 Answer Hello Ray. Remove the screw securing the housing and tilt forward and pull out wires and unplug the assembly. I followed the instructions and replaced the lamp assembly. Unfortunately I cannot get the light to shut off. The light button buzzes when pressed the door plunger goes in and out but the light stays on. Could I have plugged the light in backwards or is there another problem I have overlooked? Answer Ray, There is not a certain way that you would need to plug in the lamp. You do want to check to make sure that the wires are not touching metal and completing the circuit.
