John for Model Number WMH31017AB0 Hey, I ordered a 8206232A to replace the vent hood light and when I try to insert it into the bulb threads is feels like the light base is too big. However I cannot find any other info that states this light isn't the correct bulb to go into my microwave. Is there a smaller bulb thread? Was there a smaller one that is no longer made or something? Any help would be appreciative.
Answer Hello John, the light bulb 8206232A listed is correct as per the manufacturer, if the socket feels too large likely the threaded insert of the socket has come out with the old bulb, if that is the case a new socket is part W10210871.
