Bob Coleman for Model Number RM278PXL2 How do you change the light bulb for the microwave oven? Do you have to remove the unit from the cabinet to get to it? If you do, what do you have to remove to be able to pull the whole unit out of the cabinet? Thanks.
Answer Bob, Yes, in order to replace the light bulb you will need to remove the unit from the wall. To do this you would open the oven door and remove the screw on the inside that holds the trim on the side in place. Slide the trim down and pull off. Then remove the screws that hold the unit to the cabinet and with 2 people slide the unit out of the wall. Once you have out remove the cabinet on the microwave to access the light to replace.
