Steve for Model Number WED6200SW0 WHEN I PUSH THE POWER BUTTON THE FRONT PANEL LIGHTS UP LIKE IT SHOULD BUT WHEN I PUSH THE START BUTTON NOTHING HAPPENS. IT DOESN'T MAKE ANY NOISE AT ALL, NOT A HUM, GRUNT, SQUEAL, OR BUZZ. I THOUGHT THIS MODEL HAD A SELF DIAGNOSTIC THAT SHOULD SHOW UP, BUT NO CODES APPEAR ANYWHERE. ANY SUGGESTIONS?
Answer Hello Steve. You will need to test the door switch, thermal fuse, and check for a broke belt on the unit. Any of the 3 will prevent it from starting. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
