Answer Hi Mike. Is all else working normally? If so you are correct to presume the magnetron is faulty. Is it making a growling sound also? If so the magnetron is part # W10245183. You may get lucky if there is no unnormal noise, and just need the diode which fires the magnetron part # is W11256462. However if it is the growling, you will need to replace both. The capacitor needs to be either discharged properly or made completely sure you do not get shorted between the contacts.
