Sm Godlew for Model Number GH8155XMB-O My microwave has worked for many years with no problem until the other evening when it just went "dead"-no lights, fan, control panel functions, or anything. Resetting by unplugging for a few minutes did nothing. It did blow the circuit breaker. I even tried a new circuit breaker to no avail. Is this probably a magnetron problem or something else???
Answer Hello SM. Check the thermal fuse W11707984 and make sure it reads closed for continuity. If it is bad, you will want to check and make sure the door switches are good. If you replace the fuse, and it blows again, and the switches are good, then the magnetron W10245183 may be bad in the unit. Hope this helps. Read More...
