Dustin for Model Number NED5100TQ1 When I try to start my dryer it buzzes. I checked the continuity on all fuses and sensors and they where all good. Checked the buzzer and it had none so I changed it put new one in and it does the same thing. I jumped the buzzer wires and the dryer worked but wouldn't turn off unless I opened the door. Is this the timer switch and if so can I jump the wires and bypass the buzzer to dry a load of cloths
Answer Dustin, it"s not likely either the timer or the buzzer. You most likely have a weak motor winding 279827 and the power is taking the path of least resistance and making the buzzer, buzz. disconnecting the buzzer, eliminates the path of least resistance and the dryer will start and run.
