Shawn for Model Number JGS9900CDS This is a follow-up question to my earlier question. I've made some headway and checked for power to the fan: From the schematic White is Line; Red is Lo; Black is Hi and Green is Ground. I have power constantly on Red/White (Lo). This is true whether the fan is turned on Lo, Hi or Off from the panel. I have power on Black/White (Hi) only when the fan is turned on Hi from the panel. Does this sound like a bad downdraft power control board? Would there be any harm in removing the Red connection and having my fan work only on Hi?
Answer Hello Shawn. Yes, it sounds like the board is bad. You can disconnect the red and tape it off, but you would not have a LO to use then. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, January 8, 2016
