Hi Lawrie. As long as the physical body size and the 120 vac (stamped on the body) is the same, you should be able to adapt to it. The Black wire is a positive for the 120 vac connection. The white wire is the Neutral or negative wire connection. The green wire will be the safety chassis ground for the green wire to go to. Or you need to put the eyelet of the green wire to a frame screw that is within reach. As long as the fan support brackets and the fan blade works, you will be OK. Condenser Fan Motor part # 8201703.
