Scott M for Model Number MDE16MNDYW We have replaced the motor part# w10197708 3 times with the same motor. The motor has failed all 3 times. What to do???
Answer Scott, You will want to check to make sure that the dryer vent is clear and if the unit is in a small room then you would want to leave the door open when drying. These 2 issues can cause excessive heat on the motor and cause the lacquer that is on the motor windings to melt and short out. Also check to make sure that the unit is not overheating. Read More...
