Joe for Model Number kitchnaid kssc48qts00 I have a problem of food freezing in the refrigerator side. I did replace the thermistor on the refrigerator side. The temperature on the refrigerator side is 37 degrees and the freezer side is -10 degrees. Do I need to replace the thermistor on the freezer side as well or please advise. Thank you. Joe
Answer Hello Joe, actually, your temps are in range, on this model the freezer temp when set for 0 deg can normally vary between 0 and -14 deg, the variance is set by the main control based on certain conditions. The fresh food temp is normally set for 37-38 deg. If you are getting freezing on fresh food items and tried raising the fresh food temp slightly, please repost your question as to where in the fresh food section the feezing is occurring.
