Helen D for Model Number KSCS23FVMS01 My refrigerator is making a chirping noise intermittently with the fan at the back of the freezer. Both the freezer and fridge are keeping good temperatures, but this noise sounds like something is getting worn out and may fail; ie it sounds like the fan in the back of the freezer is in distress. Occasionally there is a high pitched noise that sounds like a dentist drill that lasts for about 15 seconds; it is related to the same problem. I was wondering if it is the evaporator fan/motor that needs to be replaced. Please advise. Helen
Answer Helen D, This does sound as if the evaporator fan motor would be the issue, the part number for it is W11671461 part link: https://www.appliancepartspros.com/whirlpool-motor-evap-w10822580-ap5985210.html Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, October 30, 2020
