Vanner for Model Number ED2FHAXS003 Ice maker auger not turning. Checked switch and power runs through. Bought new AP3084567 dispenser motor. Did not install motor just attached power plug and my new motor does not turn. There must be something between the dispense ice switch and motor that is interrupting power. Any suggestions?
Answer Hello Vanner. The motor will not run if the door is open. You will need to close the door then try the motor. If it still does not run, you need to trace backwards and see where your losing power at. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
