Craig for Model Number Kenmore 106.53659300 Ice and water do not dispense. Motor does not run. Ice maker makes ice fine. Ice chute door opens when lever depressed. Control panel lights and freezer work fine. Auger does not seem frozen. Do I need a new motor and/or solenoid?
Answer Hello Craig, If the ice and water do not work then the problem would most likely not be the motor of ice dispenser. You will want to check the wiring at the bottom of the door for loose or broken connections. You will also want to make sure that the control is not in the locked positon. Read More...
