Tom for Model Number MDB7100AWW I recently started having a leak. After reading your site I bought the impeller seal replacement kit. I've taken everything apart, but found that my check ball was missing when I took the drain cover off. Is this normal? Could it be the source of some of my problems (i.e. dirty on my dishes)? I also can't find a replacement for a Maytag. Will it be okay to replace it with a Whirlpool check ball? Thank you!
