Becky B. for Model Number Kitchenaid dishwasher W66516483300 We just installed a new circulation pump motor part no W10239405 into our Kitchenaid dishwasher, model 66516483300. After we were finished with the install and it was back up and running, we realized we forgot to install the soil senser shield. How important is this part? Can we leave it out?
Answer Becky, Yes the soil sensor shield is pretty important, and needs to be installed in the sump. There is the possibility that an article of debris into the sensor and create other issues like erratic flush and drain cycles. You do need to install the shield. Read More...
