John I've checked the level and it seems to fill out the bottom of the machine properly (an inch or two maybe?). When I hit cancel on the wash cycle I hear the water getting drained (very quietly). It's as soon as the wash cycle starts that the noise is pretty loud and continues until it's done washing.
