Manufacturer Part Number: WPW10757217

The Circulation Motor is an OEM part for Whirlpool dishwashers. It is responsible for pumping water through the spray arms to ensure thorough cleaning of dishes during the wash cycle. This motor helps maintain consistent water pressure and flow, crucial for effective dishwashing performance.

Over time, the circulation motor can fail due to factors such as motor wear, electrical issues, or blockages that cause the motor to overheat or become damaged. Regular use and the buildup of debris or hard water deposits can also contribute to motor failure.

Symptoms of a bad circulation motor include:

  • Poor cleaning results
  • Unusual noises during the wash cycle
  • Water not circulating properly
  • Dishwasher not completing cycles

This OEM part is also compatible with Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Kenmore models.

Rony for Model Number KUDS50FVSS2

hello. it all begun when my dishwasher stopped draining water. changed the drain pump, did not fix the problem. tried another drain pump and when i pressed CANCEL button to have it work, smoke came from under the dishwasher but i don't know from witch part. it was close to the drain pump tho. i changed the control board and my old drain pump worked. after a while, the heat sensor in the control board went out.i changed it and since my dishwasher will pause during wash cycle and the START light is blinking and need to push START button to resume wash cycle. sometime, all light will go off for about 5 minutes and then the light will come back with the START light flashing and need to press START button to resume cycle. it would that for about 10 times before finishing cycle. if Sanitize option is pressed, at the end of cycle, the SANITIZE light is blinking witch means that it was unable to do it, i guess. i changed the control board again and still doing the same thing. also changed the high limit temperature sensor and no luck. i unplugged the fan and the problem still occur. what should i replace?

Answer

Rony, It doesn't sound like you have a control issue it sounds like a power issue to me. I would remove the kickplate and make sure the house wiring has a good tight connection to the dishwasher wires where it connects. Next, I would check all the components for a good connection. Then you will need to put the unit into diagnostics to retrieve any error codes. There will be a tech sheet mounted on the inside of the kickplate between the insulation that explains how to put the unit into diagnostics and what the codes means.
