Lora P. for Model Number KUDA03CTBS0 My kitchen aid made what sounded like a grinding, loud noise after I started it. I went outside and forgot about it. I noticed a few hours later it did not say it was on the dry cycle...there was no noise at this point. When I opened the door It was extremely hot and steaming. It did not wash the dishes and just had water in bottom. I tried to start again and there was no noise...It will fill but that is it. It will make a click like it going on to the next thing but doesn't get any further. The water does not come out from the top so I was thinking maybe my circulation pump went bad? Any help will be grately appreciated.
Answer Hello Lora. Test for power going to the circulation motor WPW10757217. If there is power there, and the motor does not run, you will need to replace the motor in the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
