Gedi Coder for Model Number KDTM354DSS4 Hi, This dishwasher is 2 yrs old. suddenly stopped washing. It gets water inside but does not spray, and at the end it drains. I've run a couple tests, to see that water gets in properly and it drains completely, but not spinning. I've taken the spray handles, and covers, no debris at all. I put the washer on its back and checked the motor is very hot and I cannot feel any obstruction in the rubber pipe connecting it to the washer (next to the diverter), but the diverter is not hot. I've read here that the diverter could be the culprit. How could I tell? Should there be a jet of water shooting inside even if the diverter is not working? Thank you for your help.
Answer Gedi Coder, If the wash motor is not coming on and running, it needs to be replaced,, especially if it is real hot to the touch, that means it is getting voltage.
