Jim for Model Number 665.12773K311 For the last few weeks my dishwasher is making what started out as a car's belt slipping and had progressed to sounding like a neighbor's lawn mower passing by the window of the room you're sitting it. It started making the sound soon after start up ... maybe in the first minute or two. As usage progressed the sound would occur more frequently throughout the wash cycle. It would last 5-10 seconds then stop before repeating itself again. It did seem to make this noise while water can be heard draining. In addition, I noticed a slow leak coming from the diverter motor. Would a new sump assembly and diverter motor maybe fix both the leak and noise? Thank you!
Answer Jim, Yes, replacing the sump and diverter motor would most likely correct both issues. It would be recommended to check to make sure that there is nothing caught in the sump that could be creating the noise. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, January 6, 2021
