Ed for Model Number KSSO36QTB00 Upon replacing the motor (AP4434793), 2 of the wires in the harness broke off. Since there is no schematic or reference on the bottom of the motor, what is the sequence of the wires - Brw/Wht,Rd/Wh,NC,NC,Gry,NC,Blue - is that correct? It seems even with the FZ compartment at 0F and no air leaks there is still condensation build up around the motor which seems to cause the pin problems. Thank you.
Answer Hi. The IDI Motor wiring in the plug itself is # 1 pin = BR/WH. #2 is = RD/WH. #3 is = Not used. #4 is = not even there (the center open terminal). The #5 is = GRY. The #6 is = not used. The # 7 is = Blue. Looking at the Terminal connector itself, there is a flat top and the bottom 2-outer locating edges. Having said all this, the # 1 pin is the one on the right with the flat on the top and the rt. lower locater edge is facing you. So pin # 7 is on the Lt. and the pin # 1 is on the right. Then the connector only plugs onto the top of the motor. So it will be correct. Thank You. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, October 4, 2012
