James H for Model Number RBD275PRS00 My double oven has been working intermittently and powering off in the middle of cooking with a series of beeps and the lights on the front panel slowly fading then going black. After turning off the breaker for a few minutes and turning power back on, an error code of “E6 F2” is displayed. I read a few message boards and believe that I need to replace the control board but wanted to see if you would recommend checking other parts first or if you would have the exact part number I need to order for replacement. Thanks, Jim
Answer James, This error code will represent a cancel key drive line open. You will want to check the keypad connector for a firm connection and make sure that there is no corrosion on it. If this checks ok then press cancel and if the error returns after 60 seconds replace the keypad and if the error does not return replace the control board. Read More...
