Joe December 17, 2022 for Model Number RBD275PDS15 Whirlpool's Double Door Oven. No Display. The oven light comes on when the door is opened or when the light button is pressed. Every other button when pressed beeps once. An electrician friend helped opened the panel, and noticed a "brown area" around the diodes on the circuit board. Whirlpool service person provided Part #: WP8300429 (black). Any advice? How can I just order the circuit board?
1 Answer Joe, The board you need is NLA (no longer available). Check out this blog for some possible options: https://www.appliancepartspros.com/b/my-part-is-no-longer-available-what-do-i-do-now/?fbclid=IwAR2yNM5JbS4BOBjP4cwle1TAP8xa3iWKXzxfE2vdctesbz8ZzXtn6XV4-Ys Read More...
Robert June 20, 2021 for Model Number GMC305PDS07 My oven keeps heating even after turning it off with the button. I had to turn off the breaker to make it stop. Would this be the control panel? Also, this morning I was using the upper microwave and it kicked off. When it came back on all of the control panel lights were on and it was showing “PF”.
1 Answer Robert, Based on the description of your issue I would check for power from the control to the element when the unit is turned off. If there is power to the element when off then you are likely to have a shorted control assembly. Read More...
Irving December 08, 2020 for Model Number gmc305prt01 oven open door light on & oven lamps on microwave & oven will not function Replaced oven latch door assy no help does the sister board control the latch lock assy and oven lights
1 Answer Irving, The AP6012630 sister board supplies power to the door latch motor when the self-clean cycle is selected but has no effect on the oven or microwave interior lights. The light switch on the latch assembly signals the control when the door is opened, the control board completes the circuit and sends the 120 VAC to the light socket(s) and the bulb illuminates. The microwave interior light is controlled through the primary interlock door switch, when the door is opened, power is supplied to the control board, and the light supply transformer the voltage is converted to a DCV circuit and supplies power to the halogen light bulb and it illuminates. If you're sure the bulbs aren't defective or burnt out, you'll need to check the switches and wiring and replace the control board if all's OK. Read More...

Frank November 26, 2018 for Model Number RBD306PDB14 This past year the oven has intermittently turned on the self cleaning mode. A couple weeks ago it was doing it every few hours. Turned the power off and bought the control board AP6012630 (WP8301848) from Appliancepartspros. Replaced the board easily last Tuesday and the oven worked fine for Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving evening the oven went into self clean mode by itself. I powered down and and seeking answers? Was the new board bad or is something else going on? This is the one and only issue we have had with the oven. Thanks. Frank
1 Answer Frank, It sounds like more of a user interface issue with possibly the membrane having a short and acting like the clean button is being depressed.WP8300437 Read More...
Scott October 22, 2018 for Model Number RBD305PDS14 No display showing up, but oven light still works. Believe board has bad caps and looking for proper replacement. Complete assembly or just board. Assembly # 8302319 Board # 8302315 I see this part number has been replaced a few times, so do not want to order incorrect part. Thanks for your help in advance!
1 Answer Scott, If the control panel beeps but just no display then you will want to check the transformer WP9760587. You will want to test for 120 vac at the p16 connector between pins 5 and 7 for 120 vac and if there is power there then test from the p16 pins 2 to 3 for 12 to 24 vac. If there is no power at this point then transformer is bad. If there is power at this point then the control board is faulty. If there is no power at pins 5 to 7 then the control board is faulty. The control board for this unit would be part number [AP5021414] which unfortunately has been disconitnued by the manufacturer with no suitable replacement available. Read More...
Deborah August 14, 2018 for Model Number GBD277PDS09 I have a Whirlpool model #GBD277PDS09. Sears has told me that the "motherboard" needs replaced and the part is no longer sold/serviced by them. I typed in my model number and checked out the control panel and options that go w/this oven. Can you tell me if the electronic control board y'all sell works w/this oven? You offer one; part AP6012630. The other one that pops up isn't offered. I just don't want to order the incorrect part. Thanks so much! Debby
1 Answer Deborah, The part number for the control board that would be needed is WPW10438751 but has been discontinued by the manufacturer with no suitable replacement available. You could try to use a company called Corecentricsolutions.com and see if they are able to rebuild the board. Read More...
James H August 13, 2018 for Model Number RBD275PRS00 My double oven has been working intermittently and powering off in the middle of cooking with a series of beeps and the lights on the front panel slowly fading then going black. After turning off the breaker for a few minutes and turning power back on, an error code of “E6 F2” is displayed. I read a few message boards and believe that I need to replace the control board but wanted to see if you would recommend checking other parts first or if you would have the exact part number I need to order for replacement. Thanks, Jim
1 Answer James, This error code will represent a cancel key drive line open. You will want to check the keypad connector for a firm connection and make sure that there is no corrosion on it. If this checks ok then press cancel and if the error returns after 60 seconds replace the keypad and if the error does not return replace the control board. Read More...
