Don for Model Number 11029812 I have another question about the washer. It agitates when it goes into the spin cycle. I took the gear case apart and there is nothing that I can see wrong with the gears or shaft. What does the neutral drain switch do inside the gear case? Is this what causes the machine to go from drain to spin to wash etc? Thanks Don
Answer Hello Don. The way the unit goes into spin cycle is the motor reverses on the washer. Then the paw arm in the kit places the gears into spin mode. If your washer is draining, it is reversing. If it is not the motor is not reversing. If it is reversing, then you need to replace the gear box and not just the kit. This way the seals are new on the unit as well. Read More...
