Phil Why won't the oven burner ignite on my Maytag Model MGS5870ADB? The igniter heats up, stays on, but gas doesn't come out and the burner doesn't light.
Answer Hello Phil. You could have a weak ignitor. If the ignitor does not get hot enough, it will not release the gas at the valve. There is a way to test this at the valve.
