Longtime Owner for Model Number KGRT607HBS4 A while back, I needed to replace one of the bulbs in the oven and was able to do so without much incident. But when I unscrewed the glass bulb cover, along with the cover came quite a bit of (what appeared to be) fiberglass insulation. It was quite thread-like and impossible to return to its original position. I replaced the bulb and all seemed well. Today, however, one of the bulb covers just dropped out, the portion of which screws into the base having sheared off (presumably due to temperatures). I plan to replace the bulb covers, but I'm curious about this insulation-type stuff. What is/was it, and do I need to replace that, too? Many thanks. As you can no doubt tell from the model number, I've had this appliance for a long time. I *love* it.
Answer Longtime owner, The part that may have come out could have been the light lens gasket WP3184533 and should be installed with the light lens. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, March 13, 2013
